When you are collaborating and communicating via Cavrnus, we recommend using headphones and avoiding external speaker outputs as these can lead to echoing and poor audio quality experiences. If you are connecting for the first time through our Unity-based native applications, you will need to allow permissions for your device to access your Microphone and Camera. Once you do, you can navigate to your Settings menu to set or modify your Audio Input, Audio Output and Muted by Default settings. If you are connecting for the first time through our 2D web video conferencing client, you will have to allow your Web Browser access to your Microphone.
If you are connecting for the first time through our Unity-based native applications, you will need to allow permissions for your device to access your Screen Recording. Once you do, you can open the Presentation Menu in the upper right hand corner of the Navigation. From this menu, you can start screen sharing by selecting a display source. Others can view your screenshare by clicking your picture in the user list to open up the stream or they can view your stream on any streamboard or surface in the space. Note: if you are using macOS for screensharing functionality, the application will need to be restarted in order for this update to process.
